The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development’s triennial international survey compared test scores from 65 countries. Happiness was ranked based on the percentage of students who agreed or disagreed with the statement “I feel happy at school.” Test scores were ranked based on the combined individual rankings of the students’ math, reading, and science scores.
i can attest, somehow, that in argentina, school system and themes to learn suck very much,at least what i saw while learning, this is just my biased opinion. Also people believes firmly that going to school sucks in general, so that may be analicient for kids to not study, and then do worse in tests. i studied, but was not that happy either, can´t remember much of what i was supposed to know from that time now. several years we saw the same contents,at the same level.kinda worrisome for me , was that.
